What is Wal-Marts future outlook?

Wal-Mart will never go away. They are wonderfully managed at the CORPORATE level. Yes much of their sales do have a minimal profit margin, but they don't take title to much of their electronics and other more expensive items. Instead the producer or distributor pays Wal-Mart to put it on the shelf and pays them again when it goes through the check out line. This minimizes a lot of their expenses with regards to their higher end products making up for the small margins on other things. Yes, Wal-Mart also has some issues with employees, but lets be honest here, they save consumers so much money per year people will keep coming back. The other stores that sell items similarily priced must be bought in bulk which is another reason Wal-Mart will continue to grow.
Not good if they keep treating employees the way they do. Trust me I used to work for them, and I'll give them 5years. 98% of Wal Marts are terrible to their employees.
She is right about not being worker friendly, but Walmart is THEY biggest American company now (They just passed up Exxon). They are a behemoth and will continue to grow and prosper....
Struggling, according to an article in this week's "Business Week". Sales are flat and Wal-Mart is fighting to keep customers who are flocking to Target, Costco, etc. People are using Wal-Mart to buy essentials such as shampoo and soap, which have low profit margins. They're going elsewhere for clothes and other items.

Now I am a stay-at-home parent. But, when I did work, most of the offices I worked in had the most casual dress codes you could possibly ask for. Yet I still could not find suitable clothes at Wal-Mart (except for their Kathy Lee Gifford line, which was butt-ugly) so this does not surprise me. Shoes I buy for my kids do not fit well or hold up well, so I have found another shoe store.

Wal-mart's warehouse retailer Sam's Club is struggling too. There was just a front page article on Yahoo saying they are laying off managers and restructuring the management system. This doesn't surprise me either. Lines were always LONG at Sam's Club. At Costco, each cashier has an assistant who places the (admittedly, large and heavy) items on the conveyer belt. This causes the checkout lines to move very quickly. I'll stay a Costco member. It may be a little more expensive but the store is a) closer to me and b) checkout lines are shorter.

So there's the recent news along with my opinion. Google the "Business Week" article if you want, it was in this week's mag that my husband gets.
They need to get back to basics, as that's what they are good at. Large variety of popular products at low prices. Don't try fancy "designer" lines. It may have worked for Target, but Wally's target audience is different. They also need to manage their PR better and break the "cult" that surrounds their corporate culture.

I have not yet ben able to locate the name Samuel Robson Walton. I understand the he does not travel around the country to even try to motivate any Wal Mart associates like his dad used to. He may have foundations, but the money was earned by the ordinary non Board of Director associates. Wal Mart will improve their treatment of associates but it will take time.

The FBI's Cyber Division knows the password of this site and CAN deliberately DELETE it, accidentally leak it or sell it.

There are still FBI Agents that will defend and uphold the US Constitution even if it means questioning their orders and superiors. I respect them as I have met some, but I am glad that I never asked for their names.

Wrongful Termination with possible illegal implications at Sam's Club 6625 at San Fernando California 91340

William Gregory Lang or Bill Lang wants to transfer to a Sam's Club in Colorado as soon as possible. Mr Lang used to be trusted by Max Rafael Waller who made the mistake of telling him everything before the Termination on Monday, 23 April 2007.

Mr Lang is a decent and the Waller Family will pray for everyone that is against Max Rafael Waller

Team Lead Ambrosio Galvan also knows a lot of dirty secrets at Sam's Club 6625, but is nervous about losing his job if he sides with Max Rafael Waller

Sam's Club PD-57 was NOT adhere to by Club Manager Fidel Jacobo and Membership Manager Esperanza Lopez. No documentation of any complaints and the San Fernando Police Department or the Los Angeles Police Department ever showed for a "Work Place Violence." Please show proof since one complaint and one video tape does NOT establish workplace violence. Neither Mr Jacobo or Ms Lopez wanted to sign the papers of any meeting between two managers and Max Rafael Waller for Legal Documentation. No meetings to address any potentail problems at the Tire and Battery Center were brought up by the Team Lead or Management.

Max Rafael Waller is a share holder Wal Mart Stores, Inc stock. He has about 11 shares so he has vested interest. Also at the time of the termination, Max was 100 percent vested in profit sharing.

Miguel P Herrera might had spread misinformation but is only a suspect.

Mr Turner's representative Missy asnwered but Mr Turner never returned the call.

Shane Dickerson had possibly ordered Club Manager Fidel Jacobo to do the termination after a hasty meeting after 3 PM.

Wal Mart needs to show all internal complaints from all current and past associates, but they will refuse because it would reveal the true Wal Mart after Sam M Walton died.

Samuel Robson Walton and Wal Mart Stores, Inc do good things but can improve and I only hiope the New York Times will do a complete investigation since they are always in contact with Wal Mart's Home Office in Bentonville Arkansas.

I read the Los Angeles Times daily so I hope that they will have the courage and invetsigate Samuel Robson Walton and Wal Mart Stores, Inc otherwise I will start a subscription with the New York Times once I find a job with my decent Sales Skills
