Does anyone know which big name companies give donations to not-for-profit organizations?

I have a not-for-profit organization (www.overflowingwellministries... that reaches out to help women, children, and their families. We need help from companies and need them to donate their goods and/or services to help us with this fight. We need all types of items...if you name it we could probably use it! Does anyone know of any major companies that donate, what they require, and how you apply for donations?

Target is a very generous donor. Wal*Mart is another.
There should be books at your local libraries which list grant opportunities. Some corporations have information on their websites as well.
Just about all of them. you will have to contact each of them individually to determine their requirements.
Most large companies donate. The company I worked for had to go out and search for a charity for donation this year. The large companies need to donate for tax purposes.
Big corporations mostly have corporate giving programs designed for the "greater good" , and as such give only to non profits designated as 501C3.

Here are some of the big companies' corporate giving programs and their objectives:

Philip Morris http://www.philipmorrisusa.com/en/our_in...
Provides financial and in-kind contributions to local organizations, and through sponsorship of community events. Again, applicants must be non-profit, charitable organizations tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
