yes since u already have the letter of employment, but sometimes it happens that the date is yet to be finalized by the employer... its valid without the date and u can take up the offer when it comes or when there is vacancy in the organization or call the organization up and ask them about the date or willing tell them that u can begin work whenever u feel is right.... after that they will fix the employment date... A job offer sometimes doesn't have a start date. A written job offer isn't a binding contract, so there is no reason it wouldn't be "valid."
