Can Wal-Mart Refuse To Sell Me A Product?

I went in there to buy "Creatine" a body building supplement. I am 17, and the clerk refused to sell it to me because I am not 18, the container that the creatine comes in sais NOTHING about you must be over 18 to purchase it, their store has no sign that sais "We reserve the right to refuse business to anyone" or whatever....can they really refuse to sell it to me, especiall since the manufacturer has said nothing bout you must be over 18?

Nobody has to sell anybody anything, unless a contract is signed. There is no law binding a retail store to sell any products to their customers.

Sorry, it's not discremination either. Just try again another time.
Yes, they can!
yes, it's their right.
The correct spelling is "Discrimination" and yes, they can refuse to sell.
they did din't they?
17 and you can't spell simple words. You don't even have a clue what the " Check Spelling " button is for and you want a body building supplement. Save your money and buy some educational material. A strong brain is more important than a strong body.
If the law requires a certain age for a product Wal Mart Stores, Inc will abide and rather lose a sale than a court decision. So if you did not meet the age criteria in your state then Wal Mart did not discriminate you ! Ask them to show the policy or law that stated that they could not sell you the body supplement.
