wal-mart donated a digital camara to the cancer relay to raffle off for money and then refuse to let the emplayees buy the tickets. they stated that the emplayees were not able to win this item. it would not look right if the emplayee won on the drawing.
My wife worked in a credit union and was not allowed to participate in any of the gifts given away,even though she also was a member of the credit union she was not allowed to even enter her name for the yearly Christmas gifts given away,and the worst thing about it was that even though I was a member for many years way before she started to work there,by being her husband I was not allowed to participate either.they said it would looked like it had been fixed if we happen to win
I think that is a common unbiased tactic so don't be to offended ! They don't want people saying the game is rigged because an employee won . I can agree with that logic .
