Tesco's what do you think? |
I work for Tesco's and I want to ask my customers what do you really think of our stores, Ive seen some members of our staff being very rude to the most important people (you pay my wages) so give me the low down on the biggest supermarket in the uk The trouble with Tescos is very weak management and no communication among the staff. Some customers are very rude and treat staff like something which was scraped off the bottom of your shoe. They have no idea how to treat their staff at all or how or even want to keep them happy. If staff were being treated well by management, they would be happy and this in turn would be reflected on to the customers. The problem with Tescos is at the top.Don't blame the hard working little one at the bottom.I have worked for an American company and they are the best employers I have ever had because they do everything to ensure their staff is happy in their job. Never been in a tesco before. live in guernsey but if staff is rude to me I wont be to happy but probally still go there if i can save alot of money. you should probaly tell manegment that you have seen staff being rude to customers amazing I visited the UK several years ago, for a 6 week vacation. Some friends i stayed with took me to Tesco's a few times. I LOVED IT!!!! I bought a few things to bring home with me, and it was a great store. The staff and people were great. In the U.S. We have Costco's, Sam's Club, Super Walmarts and other stores like Tesco's. I know this probably doesnt answer your question, but I had a very good experience when i was visiting the UK..and hope to go back again someday. I hate it and never shop there as it so informal and much too big,I now go to Somerfields or the Co Op A large Tesco extra has just been built about 400yds from me out of my eyeline thank goodness but it is convenient to call there. I know the times when items are reduced ;-) All the times I have been there, only one particular girl was silently rude. Everyone else has been very civil. Some items are too expensive, but tesco's own brands are good value especially the 24p toothpaste hehe I have switched from Tesco to Sainsbury for my home delivery shopping because Tesco was dreadful. Broken eggs, missing items, bad substitutions, etc, all took their toll. Sainsbury are great - nothing phases them, and the slightest error results in free delivery and refunds - whereas Tesco is bound by 'company policy', which is not usually in the customer's favour. Tesco management need to get their heads out of each other's a***es and look at what the customer expects, and what the rest of the market is doing. |
