Have an idea for improvement on an existing product. How can I make idea profitable if it cant be patented?


many different companies makes the product already, but I came up with an idea of how to significantly improve the product. The improvement isnt costly. Can I get profit anyway if I disclose my idea to one of the companies?

I would get a patent on it 1st my friend then advertise that you could do for that company give an outline of what can be fixed and how much productivity will go up without actually telling them as to how
