What does it mean when an application asks "What type of entity are you?"?

It gives me the choices
-Individual
-Sole Proprietorship
-LLC
-Partnership
-Other
-LLP
-Corporation
-Foreign
-Non-profit

That is really weird and I've never seen it before. I don't have a job so I don't know what I should answer. Please help.

Individual.
Individual
but what kind of application are you talking about?
You're a "person", so mark "individual".

The application wants to know if you're a person or a business, and if you're a business, what kind?

You have to be licensed with the state to be any of the others.
If that's what you want, wouldn't it be better for you to work in a vet's clinic as an employee? There are tax implications if you choose to do business as either a self-employed individual or as a sole-proprietor, leave alone the requirements to keep proper accounting records, and I'm not sure you know what to do, no offence meant.
