What are the steps to take if my social security card has been stolen?

Call the local police and get a report filed.

Notify the SS office

Call your bank

Notify the local credit bureau
contact the police asap... contact the issuer of SS card... tell them asap it's been stolen.. you need a police report stating it's been stolen...
Alert your local SS office.
go to nearest police office & lodge a complain.
just take your birth certificate and your drivers license to the social security office in your city.
The first step is to contact your local social security office, and they will inform you of what else, if anything to do from there. Good Luck!!
