go to a bank
There are dealerships that work with a first time buyer. I did that with my first car. As long as he can show he has a job. Also, mom or dad can co-sign
Welcome Finance are flexible when it comes to car loans. Like you I had no credit record but they were willing to loan me 拢4k to buy a car with 拢250 cash back.
There are plenty of adverts in the local papers offering cars on no deposit schemes.
Yesterday I was looking at an ad for a small MG with all the extras for 拢29 a week on no interest. The paper was the Gainsborough Trader. Other cars were available too.
Most banks should help. The fact that he's been in regular employment for three years should count in his favour.

The bank may ask for a guarantor, however (to pay the bill if he defaults on payment).
it doesnt really matter if you have credit or not. THe dealership can always help you like honda would have their own financing. But if your buying from another dealership. Then you can ask the bank or another insitition. They will most likely give you a loan. But they would take the car if you dont make the payments. Try Citi bank
