Going to debt management/credit counseling. What are the best companies? |
I am going to go to a debt management program/credit counseling, it was the best alternative to avoid bankruptcy. What are the best companies that charge a low fee and that can get the best lower monthly payment? consumer credit counseling, www.cccs.org Try to find a state funded one. I work for a financial institution. I have used both Lutheran Social Services and Catholic Charities. Both use trained professionals.to serve you. In my opinion, the best one to try is CCCS (Consumer Credit Counseling Services). The web site is www.cccsstl.org. It is a non-profit organization, and is part of the Better Business Bureau. I'm looking to do the same as you, here soon. I was a debt collector for two years, and actually CCCS was the most commonly used by debtors/customers. www.cccsstl.org Go to care one credit solutions www.careonecredit.com They are a non-profit organization so the service is free. They also have the website set up to where you can make changes (increase pymt to a creditor, delete a creditor, account summary, etc) There are too many features to name. You also recieve monthly statments from them letting you know what date your money left there hands and went to your creditor. I have been with them for 2 years and counting and their customer service is great too. Gotta problem? They'll fix it and email you a confirmation. Good Luck Take a look at www.daveramsey.com You can systematically get out of debt on your own without having to pay a company |
