What should your credit look like when applying for Blue from American Express?

I'm looking to get a credit card.

Apart from no annual fee feature of the American Blue Express it also gives cash returns on specific purchases. Users of the American Blue Express also enjoy protection against fraud for online credit card transactions. This card tries to right the various wrong notions about the American Express credit cards, one of which is that it is a credit card only for rich or those who have money to keep a credit card.

Getting this card will also give you access to various other cards from American Express. American Express targets people of different styles and tastes. There is an appropriate American Express card for everybody in the family. The company also wants to target a niche market for credit cards, especially women and the youth. With this aim in mind, the American Blue Express was created. Source(s): http://www.complete-debt-info.com/catego...
I used to work at AMEX.

They typically won't even consider anything under a FICO score of 700!

i.e. your credit better be really good to get the blue card.
If you have credit $600 - $700, you can apply for blue from american express. Want to earn cash as you spend? The Blue Cash from American Express庐 gives Up to 5% Cash Back with Unlimited Cash Rewards and offer to Earn unlimited cash back. Apply online at: http://www.credit-card-gallery.com/ameri...
The first poster is right, you need an EXCELLENT credit score (at or above 700) to get approved for Blue from American Express. If this is a concern, you might try the Chase Platinum Card (or any Chase credit card) since they seem to have the 'loosest' approval guidelines of all the major credit card issuers. You can compare these offers (and more) at:

Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!

If you have already applied and were not approved I would recommend applying for a Orchard credit card http://www.ccvault.com/credit_cards/bad_...

good luck
