Re: commission on bounced cheques? |
I do not have a contract and was not told about giving back commission until the first cheque bounced. I am given a list of names and addresses Sounds like you have been taken by a con-merchant. Typical Cheque Cashing scam operates like this :- The Nigerian scam merchant 'recruits' a victim in UK to 'cash cheques' for him. You 'receive' commission ... typically 10-20% ... and 'forward' (usually via Western Union) the balance to him ... Shock Horror .. after you have 'cashed' the first few they start to 'bounce' (in fact, every one is a forgery / stolen / fake) ... but you have already sent on the balance ... Clearly, you know what you are taking about but the rest of us are in the dark...what is your question. Do not understand the question the way you have worded it. The customer's check bounced? if so , you get zip , until it clears, if it clears . Standard practice . I was assuming your were speaking of some sort of sales job , not a "Nigerian" scam . Sooooo, Lucy ,... you got some 'splainin' to do , if you want answers that might help . ;D Has this something to do with e-bay ? Dont quite understand your question, can you elaborate more please? |
