What are the rates of the prepaid visa card? |
i want to kno every fee assosicated with the card im thinking of getting one tommorow from cvs or safeway Every prepaid visa or mastercard has different fees. Some have a loading fee-charge when you want to deposit ($3.95-5.95, some have a monthly maintence fee in the same price range, some have statement fees, activation fee, etc. You really can't say absolutely how much fees will be because there are so many companies that offer prepaids and their fees vary. Try going to www.accountnow.com this is where I have mine and I have what they call a "convience card" plan. No activation fee, no monthly fee. Check it out if fees are what you're worried about. This not visa it's mastercard, but works just as good I think you just have to buy one..then after that...you might have to pay like 3 bucks to reload it....other than that it is just like a debit card issued to you by your bank. Be very carefull when buying these prepaid cards that are at check stands. A few months ago there was a big issue with people stealing the numbers off the card, and then calling to see if money was on it.
