What's the best way to take out a personal loan while being unemployed? |
i lost my job due to kidney stones ( i missed a lot of days while during my 3mo probation period ) and now my Credit card bill is going up and up and up. i need to pay it off so that i don't mess up my credit, h'm only 19 and i need to take out a small loan only about $1000 or so. what should i do? any website suggestions?? No one is going to give you a personal loan if you are unemployed - especially if it to pay bills. Give your head a shake Britney. Who is going to lend you money while you are out of work. probably your credit cards are your best bet. since you're young, it would probably serve you best to find some place cheap to live for a while, in order to get your financial situation worked out.. friends or family. don't worry about messing up your credit right now. worry about getting a job. Call the credit card companies and tell them about your situation. They are usually willing to help. If you do not get a handle on this now it will haunt you for years to come! I don't think creditors will give you an account because there is no assurance on your part. - try friends and relatives - maybe they can help. hey mm gave a good answer, Please if you have not alreay contacted the credit card company do so right away and please explain your sitution to them. You can prove that you had a job and that you was in your probationary period but due to the kidnet stones problems you was fired let go. You can also go to your doctor or whoever and however you had them remove hopefully but you can go to them and get the proof you need regarding your kidney stones. Get your credit card company fax number, but before you do that, please find out who is handling your account also find out who is the manger of the department that is handling your credit card account .talk to the manger and explain what happen and fax the information regarding your job and kidney stone problems to the manger ,please keep proof for yourself. Once you have spoken to the manger and gotten the required information that you and he/she would need ,try to set-up a small payment amount maybe 10.00 for the first month and maybe 10.00 or 20.00 the second month to at least pay on it. Not paying anything will hurt you in the future. You know you probaly can get your job back as long as ou can show proof of yourmedical probelm. Talk to the head people in charge there is also some one who is higher than the regular mangers. Go seecan you get your job back if you want that job okay Also find out did your card have some kind of credit protection insurance that would pay the minmum monthly payments while you are sick and unable to work. Once you made some type of arrangment with the manger, make sure that he/she would agree not to report your late payments to the credit report company and if anything have been reported make sure they agree that once you have paid in good standing and kept a agrrement that they go back and report it to the creit report companies that your account have came back in good standing this want ruin your credit. Please, Please ,please get things in writting and do dont sign anything until you and the credit card company have agreed on the terms of repayment.okay Do a search engine in yahoo or what ever you use about free credit repair you will be able to find tha sample letters to the credit companies etc. I wish you the Best of Luck this is the right to get it bcoz, Quick Policy at 0% EMI Option.
