Where is the best place to go for a loan when you have really bad credit? |
My husband and I found the perfect house, but our credit sucks, primarily due to an unforeseen humongous hospital bill. We tried to go through one place, but that bill, plus a couple others, showed up and we were denied. Is there anywhere to go that we might have better luck, or is there something we can do to have a better response without having to pay off that huge debt beforehand? Parents or in-laws? Otherwise, just bite the bullet and take care of the debt. A loan shark is your best bet. try one shop loan! www.oneshoploan.com Start paying the debt back, a little at a time, to show a lender that you are taking care of it. Realize to that the larger the downpayment you are able to pay &10-30%), the greater chance that a lender will loan you the amount needed. Or you may find a house with equity where the Seller is willing to trust you with what is called Seller Financing. Rather than confuse you, get the lender to give you advice on how to improve matters. The first thing you need to do is actuallly set up a payment plan for the hospital bill. Show good faith in trying to pay what you owe. Also, go to the accounting dept of the hosp and see if they do not have a program for people within a certain income. If you have no insurance, you may want to consider a discount plan. It's less expensive but does cut your costs depending on the situation. Email me if you have more questions on that. Secondly...Go find a public credit union... Open an account with them... Then sit down with the loan officer there. Believe me...You can do this, just commit to whatever you actually need to do to make it happen...Think positive and act responsibly... Best of luck to you... pawn shop |
