When a place says you can come in and fill out an app does it mean that they're full, but want the app? |
i really need a summer job It depends on how you worded the question. If you asked if there were currently any openings then most likely they are full but they may have a high turn-over. If you expressed interest in working there then no, they were expressing interest in you. No matter which the case may be, in our low end jobs we were frequently looking for new people. Every app that came in was date stamped and reviewed. If it was good, it went into the database so that when we had an opening HR could call the people in the database to see if they were still available. Hope this helps. Maybe. They always need a steady stream of applicants even if no open position is currently available. pretty much - yeah That usually means that there full in staff, but they are always hireing so go ahead and leave you app. Hey Sears is always hireing try it out. Even if an employer is fully staffed, they by law have to accept your application, otherwise it could be considered discrimination. But that of course not mean that they will hire you. Try waiting tables or working as a grounds keeper at an apartment community. Both are decent paying summer jobs that are always needed. full of what? |
