What are the questions used to ask in an interview for the post of HR manager? |
When I go for an interview for the post of HR manager with about 5 years of experience to a IT/non-IT organisations, what are the post related questions normally asked by the employer/interwier and what is the best answer to it. In HR particular about training, man power planning, organisational development, recruitment and to the post of HR Professional If the interviewer is good, they will read your resume and then ask you to specifically describe how you did manpower planning at company A, as spelled out on your resume. They will then you ask you to detail in specifics how you did recruiting/staffing of a job at company B. They will then ask you how you specifically handled a tough diversity situation at company C. And so on... If they're a bit lazy, they'll just ask you what you know about each of the core generalist HR subjects. They may also ask you about your relationships with management and with employees. There is no "right answer" to these questions, other than honestly being able to describe actions you took which made good sense in the context of the various situations. Good luck! |
