I work as a cashier in a grocery store and have been for 30 years I am not as fast as the 20 year olds?


At work today they pulled me aside and told me I need to go faster. The want a 500 and I'm at 475. I can't really go any faster, I've tried. The question is, should I quit or wait for them to fire me?

With 30 years experience, that would be a shame for them to fire you.

What is the 475 and 500? It seems like you are close to what they want.

I would wait it out. Maybe they will see their foolishness.
