Should bio hazard waste bags be tied and put in a container?
Yes! that's the basic point of a biohazardous waste bag- containing biohazardous waste. Any possibly contaminated materials should be placed in the bag such as rags used for clean-up, gloves, dressings, and any other number of things that may have been affected. If it is available, it is also a good practice to tie the first bag, and then put it inside a second (or even third in cases of large amounts of liquid) and tie.
