How busy are you in vet school?


Does going to vet school keep you so occupied that you can barely have an outside life? I ride horses and I wondered that if I do choose to go into veterinary school, will I have time to ride anymore? Please let me know if you are/studied to be a vet and how much time it takes away from other things in life/ how hard it is in general. I'm not lazy, I can work really hard, but I still want an outside life and the way people describe it to me sounds like I will be very busy studying...
