Funny you're asking that, since I am an academic working for a university and even I hate the absolute silence in my office some times. That's why I listen to some music, that I can concetrate to of course, in order to make my time in the office more enjoyable.
I think a bit of music to break the monotony is the best solution. Give it a try. If, for any reason, that is not possible, I would recommend you have regular walks to the kitchen, vending machine, etc so you can keep yourself distracted from all other things quiet! |
