I was offered a job that would require moving, but not really interested in, how do I keep it open if I needit

While the company I was working for closed I was offered a job on the other side of the state by some people that came through for the auction. I am not really interested in the job or moving in state, but I am wondering how I go about keeping the job available if I can't find something else in the next 2 months? Do I write a letter with my resume or just a letter stating what my intentions are? Or do I write a letter telling them I am not interested at this time?

You're going to have to decide. This employer has a date already in mind for when this position has to be filled. If you can't or won't fill that need, he/she will find someone who will.
I would say that since thie alternative is unemployment, you ought to go for it.
