What do I talk to my boss about in my 90 day review period? |
This is my first job, well full time that is and my 90 day review is up. My boss and I are meeting next week, but I'm not sure what to ask about, a raise of course, but what else?? Help! First, ask for performance feedback - how are you doing so far? What areas might you need to improve on? Then, you can discuss a career or training path if appropriate - what else might you need to learn? How do you advance with the company? Based on how the conversation has gone thus far, it may or may not be appropriate to ask for an increase. Most companies don't give them at 90 days, but some high turnover industries (restaurants, retail, etc.) do give more frequent increases. Good luck. |
