Can someone help me with this debate topic?


The topic is Resolved: The United States should jhonor all prior commitments to employee pensions.

any thought in agreement? negation? just in general?

Negation, the obvious comment is the budgetary impact such a resolve would have. We have many other priorities which require big $$, such as the Iraq war/defense spending.

Agreement, these employees worked for years in the expectation of a pension. To change that agreement now could invite a class action suit from the pensioners.
