Ok I have a interview coming up...and they want me to be prepared to discuss managed healthcare and changes to the US healthcare system. What are some important issues that I should be aware of. Im not too familiar with anything about this subject.
Basically managed healthcare is about insurance companies. Basically, it's the insurance companies who have decided to take over, or "manage", healthcare. They control what they will and will not pay for, including medical tests and prescriptions. Insurance companies practicing healthcare while the doctor's hands are tied and the patients suffer. Isn't that lovely? |
