Should I get a general MBA, or specialize in one area with my MBA, like Finance or Marketing?

It wouldn't hurt to specialize. An MBA in itself will give you a competitive advantage in the job market. Some schools don't even list your concentration on your degree, so it all depends on you. If you're seeking employment in a certain industry such as banking it would probably be beneficial to list a few of the courses you specialized in.
