What kind of qualifications do you have to have to work as a stockbroker?

FINSIA is a good place to start, getting a NZX Diploma. I hear Goldman Sachs require it of all their job candidates. An internship with a big stockbroking firm is also good. Source(s): http://www.nzx.com/education/broker...
A degree in economics is the bottom level starting point, do further studies or secure a training position and go from there.
