How many years of school do you have to go thourgh to become a lawyer?
You will be required to have a B.A or B.S from an accredited college or university. You must take the Law School Admission Test(LSAT) . You must pass high enough because the competition is great, the higher the score the better your chances of being admitted to Law School. Once you;re accepted be prepared to take out many loans(it can be very expensive). Law School is three years if you go full- time and four years if you go part-time. You must pass the Bar Exam and be accepted into the American Bar Association. P.S. When applying to Law School be sure to be completely HONEST because once you become an attorney and the ABA finds out you lied on your law school application it can be cause for disbarment and you'll never practice law again. |
