What do I need to start modeling? |
I am 12 years old, I am 5'6 1/2", I weigh about 113 pds and have medium length think brown hair. Well, I want to start modeling and my mom is convinced that it will cost a lot of money no matter what agency I go to, if it's reasonable i'll be willing to pay for everything, I know i'll have to pay for traveling costs but thats ok. If you know any good agencies that might want to use me please tell me that would be great. thanks, Brittany First you need to get some head shots and a portfilio to house the headshots. Then you can either seek out an agent and that person can find work for you which will cost a lot....or you can attend some open calls that agencies have all the time...they are totally free but sometimes they are in big cities and are at odd times....This means traveling and spending a lot of money... You could also check local department stores like macy's and sears because they have models that model clothes for them in fashion shows all over...there was a macy's in my home town that had a group of young ladies that modeled for them and they had huge opportunuty to work with other companies and agencies... You can also send your professionally done headshots to agencies...they will look at them and see if they see something and then go from there.... Try google and other search engines and see what you find...I know Ford and Wilimenia are huge agencies...try them first....Good luck...
