Whats the average percentage raise for financial services employees who work in securities ops?

Sadly it has always been from a low of 3% to a high of 6%
but there are always exceptions!!!!
It is a thankless job. Very under appreciated. Work your way up!!!! Ops Mgrs can do alright. The more licenses you get the better!!! No one can take those from ya! Specialize!!
Good Luck! Source(s): Yrs in the biz
Please recognize the post above is a major scam!!!!
But you know that!!!!!
Of course it depends on attendance, work ability, and so forth,
how much butt you are willing to kiss..This is a tough job...lots of financial guys are rich..and that is not because they pay their employees well...hey I am just telling it like it is...you and are are both working stiffs ..if you can get 5% every 3 years consider it a great accomplishment.
There is no real "average" - raises are generally dependant upon the firm. Some firms give a flat 3% cost of living increase, some give 5%+ every year (that's generous), some firms wait over 2 years to give a raise (with the amount varying by employee), and most companies reserve discretion when giving raises (varying by employee). The bottom line is, there is no definitive percentage. Securities Operations is an area in which people work very hard, but can be very underpaid. Obtaining licenses and moving to a different area of the business or working towards promotion is your best bet if you're trying to get a base salary increase.
