Countrywide does an employment background investigation can anyone explain the process? I can answer that question. After you fill out your application, they WILL contact all your previous employers, Your References, Do an extensive criminal background check and a credit check. If you have bad credit, forget it. They will not hire you. All of this takes about 2 weeks. So be patient. And good luck on getting in. The job market now in the Mortgage Industry is steadily decreasing. Countrywide is very picky on who they hire. So, if you are offered the job, wonderful. They have excellent benefits! They will call or otherwise make contact with your previous employers to verify what you put on your resume is true. Basically, did you or did you not work there at the position you stated and were you released with cause (did you do anything unethical or illegal). OMG Stay away from those S.O.B's!!!! My family and I owned a condo in Florida. Sunny Isles Beach and this is the same mortgage lender company we used (We were approximately 3 minutes away from Bal Harbour, 8 minutes away from Miami Beach, and 15 minutes from South Beach.) They are the worst, worst, worst mortgage lender you can ever imagine in every sense of the word. Please find someone else! |
