Do you work or worked for AFLAC?

I decided I am going to give AFLAC a try because I believe if you are determined and do the work, the numbers will speak for itself. I've seen a lot of negative comments here about AFLAC, but I was wondering if you cold give me some real numbers and expectations from experience. I am extremely hard working, so I know I can succeed in this industry but am curious to hear about some experiences from people that work or worked there. How many hours did you work? How many calls per day? How many appointments per week? How much income the first 2 months? Thanks!

First of all you have to ask yourself who you know? and if those people have a need for your product. I currently work for metLife and we offer an even broder range insuranceand investment products than aflac. I find myself on the phones( cold calling, and with a book buisness )anywhere from 10-12 hours a week I average about 10 appointments a week about 5 new and 5 follow ups. Income for any new insurance is low for the 1st 2 years, first 2 months dont expect much of anything unless u have a lot of friends and family who are willing to get health insuarnace today. I average about 3,000 a month it took about 5 months to get this. It takes time to build your business, many employers alreayd have alfalc as their health care source. I have been with metlife for about 8 months.

The only advantage is that you already have your own business, maybe you can get in contact with other local businesses and see if there is need before you take the Job with AFLAC.
If your going to do outside sales your better off working for yourself.
CoCo - Matt just gave you good advise. I work around AFLAC agents - they are very nice and it doesn't matter what you chose to do in Life you will have to work hard. If it is for someone or for yourself!
The point is that you do your best in what ever you do - you will be rewarded. But look at different options - Check this out!

You want a truthful answer? I got an email for me to apply blah blah blah. Told them kiss my booty. Go to www.JobVent.com and on the left hand side you will see search a company name. Type in AFLAC. Read the reviews. Then I want you to type in your search engine AFLAC and employee complaints. If that doesn't convince you to stay away from them then I don't know what will.
I am sure that AFLAC
whoever that is is a reputable
ins company but you would
do really well to sell ins independently..
Just my opinion
