Describe a time when you had to adapt your style to suit different members of a team. what was the situation,? This happens in a work situation, I am kind of mid age for where I work, being 37 and cool I like to think I can get on with the girls in their twenties, and I also get on with the women in their fifties. I am the only one in the middle. The women in their fifties dont like the girls in their twenties and vice versa. I am actually doing a good job of being ok on both sides. Although the younger ones view me as "in charge" I like to be approachable where my more older colleagues seem to like the senior/junior divide. I flit well between the two groups. And get paid most in the whole team and no one is bitter cos I am nice! This is one of those stupid questions so loved by trendy employers who think they are being clever. Adapting ones style to fit a certain situation?. You've been doing that since you were old enough to understand the principles of sharing in childhood! Write some wishy - washy guff, they won't understand it!. |
