World Financial Group is this a good company???

I might be interested in joining this company and would like feedback from someone who has already joined or has information. Thanks

Personally, I love it. I've had my ups and downs in the business (and it IS a business so you have to treat it as such), but it's far and away above any others that I've had over the years.

Some of my family members own a franchise (the franchise, not just one of the stores in a franchise, but the whole thing). My folks used to own their own business as well - delivering materials. I used to see the time and effort they had to put into keeping that up and going. The headaches, the hundreds of hours, etc.

Compared to any of those, WFG is fantastic. I didn't have anywhere near the initial capital investment that others in my family had to put into their business. I didn't even have to come up with what I'd put into a failed radio show of my own. I'm not heavily leveraged AND I have the ability to possibly generate a great deal of cash flow. In addition, I'm building my own brokerage.

Personally, I also happen to love the stated mission of the WFG and that's one of the things that got me over here.

I've seen folks make it, and I've seen folks flop - same as in any human endeavor. What I've also seen is that overall, it's a group of committed people who are doing their best to change for the better (yup, a personal opinion and one that I wholeheartedly subscribe to) the way that financial services are marketed to the public here and in Canada.

Some six years ago, I was teaching middle school. I was worried about retirement and wanted to speak to an expert. So I called a local office of one of the national broker-dealers. I'm not naming them, because it could have been almost any one. I told the secretary I had $300/month I wanted to invest. I was patched to a nice gentlemen who was pleasant until he found that I meant $300 dollars and not $300,000 dollars/per month. He told me that obviously I didn't know how this worked. I admitted that. Then he told me that just to sit with him for an hour would cost me $1500 and that even if I "could" scrape that together, he really preferred to only deal with folks with at least "$10,000 liquid cash a month" WFG was formed to go out and help the ones like me who couldn't even get into an office like that guy's. That's most of the population according to the traditional financial companies. They do good things for folks, but you have to be the folks who can afford their services to get those good things.

I know how traditional business works. I know how WFG does as well. It's got its elements of rah-rah, but guess what. It not only works, it's growing and it's providing help for lots and lots of folks. Personally (again, it's my opinion) I wouldn't want to be anywhere else - oh, and guess what? I actually like the people I work with.

Is the company for everyone? Nope. But it just might be for you. If you do come aboard, then just possibly we'll meet someday at a convention.
Perhaps pull a D&B report on the company. http://www.dnb.com
