THIS IS A SURVEY FOR PEOPLE WHO DRIVE?.... HOW MUCH ARE U WILLIN 2 SPEND $2.50 $3.00 $3.50 $4.00 $4.50 $5.00 $5.50 STATE YA PRICE!!! AND UR AGE!! I love it when people refer to economics as "greed". When demand stays the same and supply decreases, the price goes up. Its a universal law, it applies to everything, not just oil. If you think thats greed move to some communist craphole. I'm willing to pay as little as possible! Right now I pay 3.01 a gallon. I'm 18, and I seriously can not afford to drive right now! But, I'm not pumping May 15th! $2.50 $1.00 and I'm 23 stupid question. everyone will pay whatever the price is. some may find alternatives but when it comes down to it- they'll pay. 42 years old n drive for a living. I'm so old, I remember when gas was $0.99/gallon. (I'm 31.) Gas prices keep going up for two reasons: 1) Depleted resources. The US Government refuses to address this issue in earnest and, subsequently, the vast majority of Americans (who blindly trust their leaders) are uninformed (or uncaring) as to how low the supply really is. Even the most optimistic estimates indicate we'll run out of gas IN OUR LIFETIME. And as with any product, the lower the supply gets, the more expensive it will become. 2) Greed. Although some inflation is anticipated as the supply wanes, there's no excuse for the prices to be as ridiculous as they are right now. The oil companies keep raising their prices because they know they're running low on product and they want to make as much money off their loyal customers as they possibly can... and they know we'll keep paying them, no matter how ridiculous the prices are. $2.50 YES! $3.00 NOPE $3.50 NOT EVEN $4.00 NO WAY JOSE $4.50 NADA $4.50 AWE HELL NO! $5.00 OUT UDDA QWASYUN $5.50 YOU OUTTA YO FORKIN MIND? |
