Anyone knows the difference between "Senior Accounting Associate" postion and "Senior Accountant" position?



Anyone working in a bank or financial institution? what does the difference between the senior associate position and senior accountant position in a bank? why do they term it "associate" ?

Associate is usually an subordinate person. The main difference is that the work profile of Associate is comparitively less than thaty of the senior.
Senior Accountant is the senior position. Senior Accounting Associate is usually a clerical position. Associate is a nice way of saying assistant.

A senior accountant is the line job or position before becoming the finance director or CFO. As for a senior accountant associate, that is when you are one step from becoming a partner at the firm.
