How to tell a rich man from a poor man? |
How to tell a rich man from a poor man? Honestly, you can never truly tell the difference. It's not something to judge. You can't really go by their clothing, or the car that they drive. In most cases, the poor guy is going to drive a crappy car, and wear cheap clothes. A rich guy could also be seen driving a crappy car and wearing cheap clothes. The rich guy is either going to take the cheap route with everything (as an attempt to not blow away their money), or they are going to be extravagant about everything material. Poor people are typically more generous with what they have, whereas rich people (that I know, anyway) are going to be a bit stingy when it comes to sharing with others. Even if you see someone wearing brand name clothing, driving a super nice car, living in a nice house....they still might be poor. You never know how people attain their belongings. You also never know how those with more money can look like they don't have anything at all. I think that when it comes down to it, it's more of a judge of character, rather than something materialistic. Source(s): Know people from all spectrums the type of underwear they wear. rich men wear your ralph lauren 5+ dollar boxers poor men wear your 99- weid lookin boxers/briefs. cant Easy. If you out with a bunce of guys, the one who keeps his hand in his pocket when it come to his round is the rich guy. The rest are the poor guys. But they are more fun to be with. You'll always find that a rich guy never has cash in his pocket and does not like spending - for all the money he's got. Hi, Ghost, apart from all the obvious material things that a rich man will have and a poor man may not...a truly rich man will be happy with what he has, and not be jealous of other people. If you had all the money in the world, but still wanted more, you would not be happy and would not be truly 'rich'. Conversely, if you lived in a mud hut with no income, no money and ate only what you could catch or grow, with no T.V., no DVD or any 'civilised' luxuries, but were content...then you would be rich. It's all in the mind. Be happy, BobSpain Attitude! |
