I went on 4 interviews with the bank? Why didn't i get hired? Just to add to the other answers: 4 interviews isn't that much. I've gotten as much as 8. It might very well be you are qualified but people just cannot see you at this part of the firm, but then they feel like you could do well somewhere in the firm so they pass you on... and on. It happens. Don't be disappointed and keep going! probably someone from within got hired that happened to me I work in a bank and I know they like hire from within. They will post the job publicly, but, they open it first internally. If no prospects take it from within, then they have outside applicants to select from. Did you send a follow-up eTHANK YOU! letter? Did you call the Hiring Manager after the interview to THANK! them for the opportunity? Did you ASK FOR THE JOB!? What I mean is that EMPLOYERS are looking for people that are ProActive in their approach. Don't loose hope there are 9,500 Banks out there in the USA.
