Experience in Financial Firm ? |
Hi, I am pursuing Undergrad Math degree (BSc) and planning to do Second degree in Econ (BA) (Canada). However, i really need some part-time job for experience before i graduate so that i dont have trouble finding job once i graduate. What kind of firms i can apply in ?? One more question ... Can i get decent Job in Financial Firm (like Banks) with Econ and Math Major (once i graduate) ?? thanks, appreciated Financial Services Companies (Banking Industry is a great career path. Why? You can start as a Teller and then once you graduate you can get into a Management Associate Program or specialized field like Mortgage, Investments, Retail Banking, Business Banking, Commercial Lending, etc. 78 MIllion people will retire over the next 25 years, they have $1.7 trillion in Assets, this is going to be a goldmine for Bankers. Banks look for more sales experience these days than degree's or financial backrounds, what your schooling will do is move you up the ranks more quickly, for example to be in charge of high worth clients you need to have a degree, or to manage a department they look for education |
