Please help, I have financial aid questions about Pell Grant?

I applied for FAFSA and eligible for Pell Grant.
How often the college will pay the Pell Grant to the eligible student? Until now, I haven't been reimbursed for my Pell Grant. I checked on the college website, it said that the Pell Grant was paid to me, but I haven't seen any Pell Grant fund on my mailbox. They told me that the fund will be sent to me through mail. I checked the website of the college and it was a mess. They credited the Pell Grant on my account summary, but there are a lot of mess because if it's correct, I will get the reimbursement right now.
Is it possible that the financial aid office make errors?
Is it possible that the financial aid office not make errors, but discriminate against me?
Is it possible that financial aid office collect the money for themselves?
I have talked with the front office person and that person told me the same thing over and over again which I think it's a lie.
What should I do about this?

Pell grant funds go directly to your financial services office at your college. That money pays all your tuition and fees. If there is any money left over, the school will send you a check. The Pell Grant are funds available from the federal government and are only disbursed at the beginning of the term.
For example if you were eligible for a $4000 Pell Grant and on your FAFSA you indicated you were attending school in the Fall and Spring, $2000 would be disbursed in the Fall and $2000 would be disbursed in the Spring directly to your school.
If your tuition and fees for the semester are less than $2000 you will receive a check.
If your tuition and fees for the semester are greater than $2000, you would have to pay the balance due with a student loan or other financial assistance.
I received the pell when I was in college but, I went to a community college. And there they would send the pell to the school and then maybe a month or 2 after we were in school they would issue the checks(in the fall). B/C they cant issue until both your semesters are paid for. And you have to actually look back at your papers that they sent you from FAFSA when you got approved for it. It should have told you how much yours would be a year and then you have to subtract that from the cost of classes and etc. to get how much you were supp. to get back.
