WAMU-I'm appying as a teller at Washington Mutual, there's a hourly rate plus a monthly pool? What's a pool? |
I'm trying to find out what it means, a monthly pool. Is it like a bonus, what do I need to do to get that pool, is it for everybody that's a teller in that branch. Any washington mutual employees or ex employees please advise. Plus feel free to comment if you know if any Pro's and Con's of working at WAMU. Is it also true that if you are short $1 dollar after the second time they fire you? Please feel free to elaborate on any experience you have working with WAMU. And the starting pay, I think it varies by city. Thanks i don't work at a bank, but if i had to guess, i would say a pool is just like a bonus that all the tellers would get if goals were met. about the dollar short thing, it wouldn't suprise me if they are strict on new tellers. however, firing one over a small amount like a dollar is a bit harsh. . could be a scare tactic, just a way to make tellers really pay attention the first month and if you are wondering why that girl above me said to stay away from the bank, she probably thinks you are less than intelligent and feels that you at a bank would spell disaster. good god, stay as far away from wamu as possible.... |
