Highest paid careers? |
What are some of the highest paid careers that you can do apart from the obvious like doctor, IB etc? Please do not say head of microsoft or yahoo as those are not careers, they are positions. Thank you atheletes generally make more than anyone. but you cant pick a career just for the money. It has to be something that interests you, otherwise you'll hate your job and even for a billion dollars a year it wont seem worth it. I would write down what interests you. you can even make alot of money in a field that you'd think wouldnt be very high paid. for example, say you are interested in cars. you may not expect a mechanic to make very much money, but if you are interested and motivated, you could have your own shop, making way more than doctors. Business people can also make HUGE amounts of money. Any career can be a path towards wealth as long as you are motivated and willing to sacrifice things in life to get to the top. It is hard to say. A career is something that people chose to do for a living. Some people chose to run their own small business and end up making alot more than those who hold management positions in industries. A career is something you do for a living. Financial sucess depends on how clever you are and how hard you work for oppertunities. I would think that athletes get the biggest paychecks, maybe not counting huge bussinesses or docters. I mean, look at Dice-K (Starting rookie pitcher for the Bosten Red Sox) he is getting paid $100,000,000 about for only 7 years. Here's one I read about recently as one of the highest paid jobs in Arizona: an astronomer. I never would have even guessed that until read it in the newspaper. You van get high paying jobs in Nursing. A two our 4 year degree in nursing earns you from 60-80 thousand in Florida.
