What's a financial analyst? |
im 19 years old and im not really not sure what i want to study and i want to explore my options i will really appreciate if someone who is a financial analyst or knows someone who is could please e-mail me just to tell me what they think i really like numbers and math but i dont really like to talk in front of people thanks A chartered financial analyst goes through a lot of data. At the bank where I work you are not talking that much with people but you are measuring profit and loss of trades, researching companies' data to see if they are good to trade stocks in, etc. There is a lot of excel spreadsheet work involved. There are different types but most commonly "Analysts" are often researchers for mutual funds or other investment companies and cover a specific sector of the economy, like "oil anlalysts" or "computer chip analysts".
