How many years of college is it possible to go through? |
like, what is the maximum you need for a career as a doctor? To become a medical doctor, you need an undergraduate degree from an accredited university (4 years), MD from a medical school (4 years) and you have to do residency at a hospital (about 2 years depending on what you're specializing in). I believe it's 10 years to become a Vet.You can go to college as long as you like; there is no limit; but you wouldn't see like 100 yr olds around because soon you're done learing all you need, and plus it costs money to stay. You need like 6 yrs i think to become a doctor you can spend the rest of your life studying - if you can pay for it! A doctor has to do 6 years or is that a vet, anyway not at college at university, which costs alot more. Average medical student attends college for 8 years but some students take 10 years... MCAT's is very crucial and researching FDA procedures and medical practices... |
