dear sir \ma`am .can i get a good job in india or abroad if i do MBA - risk management ?.does it has finance \ maths as its subjects.? what kind of companies hire a person with MBA risk management .? does a person with such qualification will have good future .?does this qualification has good future?.. Yes indeed. Risk Management is now being given importance by Financial Institutions and Banks. RBI is very stringent on Risk Management. Each and every Bank and Financial Institute must keep theri asset portfolio in healthy condition. Simply doing Risk Management for job purpose will not serve. MBA with Legal Qualification will be best combination. GOOD LUCK Financial Risk Management is a topic which is quite hot these days. What is Fin. Risk Mgmt? Well to be simple and brief its a science of understanding the risk of an investment. It may be from the customer side or from the corporate side. This subject involves financial modeling, statistics, econometrics ..etc. Which companies would require these profiles. Banks, Investment Banks, Mutual Funds, Financial Services, Information Technology Consulting...etc. There is a course offered by GARP called FRM. Its is regarded highly in the industry and people doing MBA from top 10 colleges in India opt for that for specialization.
