Can anybody tell me something about Financial Analyst position?

Things I'll like to know are
1) working hours. I heard that FA works more than 12 hours every day?
2) stress level. Scale of 1(relax) to 10(hypertension).
3) how it takes to excel for a FA?

The working hours and the level stress are variable, depending on what type of business you are in. It is not the same to be a financial analyst for a Wall Street firm, where the level of stress is constant, as it is being a financial analyst for some other type of company, for instance manufacturing, where the levels of stress are perhaps more cyclical (once a month, or around budget time)

I believe that in order to excel an FA must be very proactive, able to see beyond the obvious, be an analytical thinker, very proficient in the use of tools such as excel spreadsheets and graphs, and able to work under pressure and constantly changing requirements.

Never knowing what will come up tomorrow is part of the difficulty, but also part of the thrill of the job
