Job Interview - Accounting Practice - HELP!?

I have a job interview tomorrow afternoon in a local accounting practice for a Trainee Accountant!

I am AAT qualified and this job will allow me to progress onto a professional accounting qualification (ACCA)

What should I expect? Any particular questions they will ask?

What should I ask them?

How do I ask in a nice way about : Salary, Career progression, Pay rises on compleating exams, Training Contract. . .

You can almost bet they will ask you about Balance Sheet accounts, Income Statement accounts, bank recs, adjusting entries. Know what accounts have normal debit and credit balances, who how to do a financial statement, bank rec, adj entries. Let them tell you what the rate is and if they ask you first you should know what the going rate is in your area or otherwise you will be too high or low. You can politely ask, what the normal career track for a person in a trainee's position is. Source(s): Certified Bookkeeper, Certified Payroll Professional who has taken many accounting employment tests.
you should check these experts in the accounting field
