Financial analyst? |
what is the salary for a financial analyst with an MBA from MIT. I have no experience in financial analysis, I am a CPA with 4 years in public accounting You should be able to pull down a little better than 100k, plus 15-40k performance bonus. If you're you'll be graduating, look for maybe a 10k signing bonus (depending on where you worked before your MBA and the quality of your internship), plus a small relo package (if any). Basically, the year after you graduate, look to pull down about 120-140k, if you're typical. If you've just graduated w/o securing a position, look for a bit less (maybe 100-125k in all, but definately no relo package). If you graduated a while ago, and have just been doing accounting since then, it'll be harder to find a job, but you should get a bit more money. You're probably going to have to take a substantial pay cut, though (about 15-30%). Good luck, though. Source(s): http://mitsloan.mit.edu/global/employmen... http://www.businessweek.com/bschools/05/... Based solely on your school experience, you can expect a salary in the $12,000 tp $23,000 range. same pay as an accountant, about $50K +/- Depends on the target industry: consulting vs investment banking vs. Investment management, general mgmt etc. But median salary should be 85k - 120k range. |
