Asking about a banker's attributes? |
hi, i'm singaporean. i wish to ask whether to become a banker, must there be any exams to take before being certified? example if you wan to be an accountant, u must be certified by the state CPA and ACCA I have some Singaporean friends interning with banks. Are you interested in working in USA? If so, you'd need a Series 65, and 7 to get started, but only once you're hired from a NASD member firm. In some firms, analysts/traders are required to take these exams. It may help your career as an investment banker if you started taking the CFA Level I as well (optional) Source(s): Info on Exams: http://www.investopedia.com/professional... Bamker, lets see, Greed, Heartlessness, Lack of Compassion..etc. It depends on what kind of "Banker" you want to be. To some, being a banker is simply being employed with the bank with some financial responsibilities in your job description. You can be a financial advisor, mortgage specialist, personal banking officer, or another lesser position more behind the scenes. While it will help to have some education behind you, many banks provide in house training, or some kind of training compensation if you wish to advance in the company. You can easily start from the bottom and work your way up in a bank. |
